A story about the Doctor and Fitz Kreiner's next adventure waiting around the corner... on the planet known as Rakis in the far far future....
CHAPTER 1
The TARDIS materialized on a vast desert plain, surrounded by towering sand dunes. The Doctor and Fitz Kreiner stepped out of the ship and into the scorching heat, shielding their eyes from the bright sun.
"Welcome to Rakis, Fitz," said the Doctor, looking around in awe. "This planet has a fascinating history. It was once home to the Fremen, a fierce desert tribe. They were known for their remarkable abilities to survive in the harshest conditions."
Fitz peered at the shimmering horizon. "It looks like there's nothing out here," he said.
The Doctor grinned. "Appearances can be deceiving," she said, gesturing toward the horizon. "There's a city out there, somewhere. Let's go find it."
As they trudged across the sand, the Doctor told Fitz about the ancient Fremen legends of a mysterious spice that grew in the deep desert, said to grant immense powers to those who could control it.
Suddenly, they heard a strange noise, like the rustling of sand in the wind. They looked up to see a group of robed figures approaching them from the distance.
The figures drew closer, revealing themselves to be Fremen, their faces covered by desert masks. The Doctor and Fitz raised their hands in greeting.
"Greetings, travelers," said the leader of the group. "I am Stilgar, leader of the Fremen. What brings you to Rakis?"
"We're explorers," said the Doctor, with a grin. "We heard about the spice and we just had to see it for ourselves."
Stilgar looked skeptical. "The spice is dangerous," he warned. "Many have died trying to harvest it."
"We'll be careful," said Fitz, eager for adventure.
Stilgar nodded, impressed by their bravado. "Very well. Come with me, and I will take you to our sietch, where you can learn more about the spice."
The Doctor and Fitz followed Stilgar through the desert, marveling at the Fremen's impressive survival skills. Finally, they arrived at a hidden underground cave system, where the Fremen had set up a thriving community.
The Doctor and Fitz were amazed by what they saw. The Fremen had developed an intricate system of water collection and recycling, allowing them to thrive in the barren desert. They also had an impressive collection of weapons, including the iconic crysknife, made from the tooth of a sandworm.
As they explored the sietch, the Doctor and Fitz learned more about the spice, and the strange prophesies surrounding it. They also met a young Fremen girl named Chani, who seemed to take a liking to Fitz.
However, their idyllic visit was cut short when they learned that a rival tribe, led by the treacherous Baron Harkonnen, was planning an attack on the sietch. The Doctor and Fitz joined forces with the Fremen, using their wits and technology to help fend off the attack.
In the end, the sietch was saved, and the Doctor and Fitz said their goodbyes to their new Fremen friends. As they boarded the TARDIS and prepared to leave Rakis, Fitz turned to the Doctor with a smile.
"That was quite an adventure," he said.
The Doctor grinned. "Just another day in the life of a Time Lord," she said, as she set the controls and the TARDIS vanished into the vortex.
CHAPTER 2
The TARDIS materialized in the swirling chaos of the time vortex. The Doctor and Fitz Kreiner looked out at the colorful streams of energy rushing past them.
"Where to next, Doctor?" Fitz asked, his eyes wide with excitement.
The Doctor grinned, "I was thinking we could take a little trip down memory lane."
Fitz raised an eyebrow, "Memory lane? I thought you were all about exploring the unknown?"
The Doctor chuckled, "Ah, but the unknown can be found in the past as well as the future. I was thinking we could pay a visit to some of my old friends."
Fitz nodded, "Sounds like a plan. But who are we visiting?"
The Doctor grinned mischievously, "You'll see."
The TARDIS flew through the vortex, twisting and turning through time and space. Finally, it landed with a jolt on a deserted planet. The Doctor and Fitz stepped out, taking in their surroundings.
"Where are we?" Fitz asked, looking around at the barren landscape.
The Doctor smiled, "We're on a planet called Gallifrey. This is where I grew up."
Fitz's eyes widened, "You mean this is your home planet?"
The Doctor nodded, "Yes, and there are some people here I want you to meet."
As they walked, the Doctor explained to Fitz about the Time Lords and the rich history of Gallifrey. Finally, they arrived at a small cottage nestled in the foothills of a mountain range.
The Doctor knocked on the door, and it opened to reveal an elderly woman with curly grey hair.
"Doctor!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a hug. "It's been far too long."
The Doctor hugged her back, "It's good to see you, Auntie."
Fitz looked on in confusion, "Auntie?"
The woman smiled warmly at Fitz, "Hello there, young man. My name is Lady President Romana, and I am a dear friend of the Doctor's."
Fitz's eyes widened, "You're the President of Gallifrey?"
Romana nodded, "Yes, I am. And you must be Fitz Kreiner, the Doctor's companion."
Fitz grinned, "Yes, that's me."
The Doctor and Romana spent hours catching up on old times, regaling Fitz with stories of their adventures together. Eventually, as the sun began to set, the Doctor and Fitz said their goodbyes and stepped back into the TARDIS.
As they took off, Fitz turned to the Doctor, "That was amazing, Doctor. I can't believe we got to meet the President of Gallifrey."
The Doctor smiled, "Yes, Romana is one of my oldest friends. It was good to see her again."
Fitz nodded, "Where to next?"
The Doctor grinned, "Oh, I've got a few ideas. But first, let's see where the time vortex takes us.
CHAPTER 3
The TARDIS hurtled through the time vortex, its blue light flickering and dancing around the control room. The Doctor and Fitz Kreiner had been traveling for days, exploring the vast and endless expanse of time and space.
Suddenly, the TARDIS shook violently, throwing the Doctor and Fitz off their feet. The console beeped and whirred as the Doctor frantically tried to stabilize their position.
"What's happening?" Fitz asked, struggling to get back up.
"I don't know," the Doctor replied, his eyes fixed on the console. "Something's interfering with the vortex. It's like... like we're being pulled into a gravitational field."
As the TARDIS shuddered again, the Doctor slammed his hand down on a switch, and the ship came to a jarring halt.
"Where are we?" Fitz asked, looking out the door at a strange and alien landscape.
The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS and surveyed their surroundings. They were on a barren and desolate planet, surrounded by jagged rocks and towering cliffs.
"Rakis," the Doctor said, his eyes scanning the horizon. "We're on Rakis."
Fitz looked at him in disbelief. "Rakis? That's impossible. It's thousands of years in the future. How could we have gotten here?"
"I don't know," the Doctor said, frowning. "But we're here, and we need to figure out why."
As they walked through the barren landscape, the Doctor and Fitz could feel the weight of history bearing down on them. Rakis was a planet shrouded in mystery, its ancient ruins and forgotten technology hinting at a civilization long lost to the ages.
As they explored the ruins, the Doctor and Fitz encountered strange creatures and ancient artifacts, piecing together the history of the lost civilization that once called Rakis home.
But as they delved deeper into the planet's secrets, they began to uncover a darker truth. Something was stirring beneath the surface of Rakis, a malevolent force that threatened to consume everything in its path.
With time running out, the Doctor and Fitz raced against the clock to stop the ancient evil and save Rakis from certain destruction. And as they battled the forces of darkness, they realized that the fate of the entire universe hung in the balance.
CHAPTER 4
The TARDIS had been drifting aimlessly through the time vortex for what felt like hours when suddenly, the ship shook violently, throwing the Doctor and Fitz to the ground. As they got up, they saw that the TARDIS had materialized in a strange and unfamiliar location.
As they stepped out of the TARDIS, they found themselves on a desolate planet, surrounded by towering sand dunes and a harsh, unforgiving landscape. The sky was a deep shade of red, and the air was thick with a strange, musky scent.
As they began to explore the area, they came across a group of people dressed in strange, ornate clothing. These people called themselves the Fremen, and they were in the midst of a rebellion against a tyrannical ruler known as the God-Emperor Leto.
Despite their initial distrust of the Doctor and Fitz, the Fremen soon realized that they shared a common enemy in the God-Emperor. With the Doctor's help, they devised a plan to infiltrate the God-Emperor's stronghold and put an end to his reign of terror.
Their plan was a success, but just as they were about to make their escape, the God-Emperor himself appeared before them. Leto was a towering figure, his body covered in strange, pulsating worms that seemed to be a part of him.
To the Doctor's surprise, Leto was not the evil, power-hungry ruler they had been led to believe he was. Instead, he was a wise and benevolent leader who had sacrificed his own humanity to save the universe from destruction.
With the help of the Doctor and Fitz, Leto was able to complete his ultimate goal and stabilize the fabric of time and space. As a result, the entire universe was saved from certain doom.
As they bid farewell to the God-Emperor and the Fremen, the Doctor and Fitz reflected on the incredible adventure they had just experienced. They both knew that they would never forget the time they spent on the planet Rakis and the incredible beings they had met there.
