The host, SARAH, sits in front of the camera, ready to begin the first episode of True Nightmares.
SARAH: Hello, and welcome to True Nightmares. In this series, we'll be exploring some of the scariest and most chilling true stories from around the world. So, get ready to be scared out of your mind.
CUT TO:
INT. CABIN IN THE WOODS - NIGHT
A couple, LUCAS and JESSICA, are on a weekend getaway in a cabin in the woods. They sit in front of a fireplace, sipping wine and enjoying the quiet of the night.
LUCAS: This is the perfect weekend, just you and me in the middle of nowhere.
JESSICA: I know, it's so peaceful out here. But it's kind of creepy too, don't you think?
LUCAS: (laughs) You're not scared, are you?
JESSICA: No, of course not. It's just...the stories they tell about these woods. It gives me goosebumps.
LUCAS: (scoffs) You don't really believe in that stuff, do you?
JESSICA: I don't know, maybe. I just have this feeling like we're not alone out here.
Suddenly, they hear a loud banging at the door.
LUCAS: What the hell is that?
JESSICA: (scared) I don't know.
Lucas gets up and slowly makes his way to the door. He opens it, but no one is there.
LUCAS: (sighs) It's just the wind.
As he closes the door, they hear a loud thump from upstairs.
JESSICA: (whispering) What was that?
They slowly make their way upstairs, and as they turn a corner, they see a figure standing in the shadows.
JESSICA: (screams) Oh my God!
Lucas runs towards the figure, but as he gets closer, he realizes it's just a coat rack.
LUCAS: (laughs) See, it's just your imagination.
Suddenly, they hear a loud scream coming from outside.
JESSICA: (screams) We have to get out of here!
They run outside, and as they do, they see a dark figure standing in the woods.
LUCAS: What the hell is that?
JESSICA: (sobbing) I don't know, let's just get out of here.

INT. YOUTUBE STUDIO
SARAH: And that's where we'll end our first episode. Join us next time for another terrifying true story on True Nightmares.
