John had always been fascinated with old locks and keys. As a child, he would spend hours tinkering with the locks in his house, trying to figure out how they worked. As he grew older, his fascination only grew, and he began to collect antique keys, each with its own unique story.
One day, John came across an old antique store that he had never noticed before. As he browsed the shelves, his eyes fell upon a small, rusted key. It was unlike any he had ever seen before, with strange markings etched into its surface.
He asked the shopkeeper about the key, but the man shrugged and said he knew nothing about it. Intrigued, John purchased the key and brought it home.

John's heart raced with excitement. He knew that this was his chance to uncover the truth about Robert's invention. He spent the next few days poring over the diary, trying to decipher the complex notes and diagrams.
Finally, he was ready. He gathered up all the materials he needed and set to work building his own time machine.

In the end, John returned to his own time, exhausted but exhilarated. He knew that he would never forget the forgotten key
