The Sandman and Destruction nodded in agreement, and the three of them stood in silence for a moment, contemplating what had just happened.
Finally, the Sandman spoke up. "I suppose we should bury him," he said, gesturing towards the lifeless body of Delirium.
Destruction nodded. "I'll take care of it," he said, moving towards the body.
As he picked up Delirium's lifeless form, something caught his eye. It was a small piece of paper, clutched tightly in her hand.
Curiosity getting the best of him, Destruction pried the paper from her grasp and read the contents. His eyes widened as he read the words scrawled across the page.
"What is it?" the Sandman asked, noticing the sudden change in Destruction's expression.
"It's a letter," Destruction said, still in shock. "A letter from our brother, Dream."
The Sandman and Destruction exchanged a meaningful look, both knowing that Dream had been missing for centuries.
"We have to find him," the Sandman said firmly. "It's time to bring him home."
Destruction nodded in agreement, clutching the letter tightly in his hand.
And so, the three of them set out into the unknown, determined to find their long-lost brother and bring him back to the Dreaming where he belonged.
As they journeyed through time and space, they encountered many challenges and obstacles, but they never lost hope. And finally, after what felt like an eternity, they found him.
Dream was battered and broken, but still alive. The Sandman and Destruction rushed to his side, helping him to his feet.
"We're here to take you home," the Sandman said, his voice filled with emotion.
Dream nodded, tears streaming down his face. "I've missed you all so much," he said, as they led him back to the Dreaming.
And so, the Endless were reunited once again, and the Dreaming was whole. It was a bittersweet moment, for they had lost one of their own, but they had gained so much more.
Together, they looked out over the vast expanse of the Dreaming, knowing that they would never be alone again. For they were the Endless, and they were forever bound to each other and to the realm they called home.
