Chapter 1
Destruction of the Endless had been wandering the Earth for centuries, and during that time he had made many friends and enemies. He had seen civilizations rise and fall, and he had watched as the world changed around him. But no matter where he went, he could never escape the feeling that there was something he had left undone.
As he walked down a dusty road in the middle of nowhere, he knew that he had finally remembered what it was. He had unfinished business to attend to, and he needed to take care of it before he could move on. Chapter 2 Destruction arrived at a small village on the outskirts of a vast desert. The villagers looked at him warily as he approached, but he paid them no mind. He was searching for someone, and he knew that he would find them here. Finally, he saw the person he had been looking for. It was a young man who had left the village years ago to search for his own destiny. But now, he had returned, and he was a changed man. He had become a powerful leader, and he was worshipped by the people of the village. Destruction watched as the young man gave a rousing speech to his followers, urging them to join him on a journey into the desert. He spoke of a great treasure that lay buried deep in the sand, and he promised that whoever found it would be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. Chapter 3 Destruction knew that he had to follow the young man into the desert. He had a feeling that the treasure he was searching for was connected to his unfinished business. So, he joined the group of followers and set out into the scorching heat of the desert. Days turned into weeks, and the journey was long and grueling. Many of the followers began to doubt the young man's leadership, and they wanted to turn back. But the young man was determined to find the treasure, and he refused to give up. Finally, they came upon a great sand dune that towered over them like a giant. The young man pointed to the top of the dune and told his followers that the treasure was there, buried deep in the sand. Chapter 4 The group of followers began to dig, and they worked tirelessly for days. But as the sun beat down on them and the sand filled their eyes and mouths, many of them began to lose hope. The young man, however, refused to give up. He dug deeper and deeper into the sand, determined to find the treasure. Finally, he struck something solid, and he knew that he had found it. He dug faster and faster, his heart racing with excitement. And then, at last, he uncovered a small, wooden chest. Chapter 5 The young man opened the chest eagerly, expecting to find gold and jewels inside. But what he found instead was a simple, leather-bound book. Confused, he opened the book and began to read. As he read, his expression changed from one of excitement to one of horror. The book contained dark secrets that he had never known before. Secrets that could destroy everything he had built. Destruction watched from a distance as the young man's followers turned on him, enraged by what they had learned. In the chaos that followed, Destruction slipped away, satisfied that he had completed his unfinished business. Epilogue Destruction returned to the Dreaming, where he found his siblings waiting for him. Death, Delirium, the Sandman, and the Doctor were all there, and they looked at him expectantly. "So, what was your unfinished business?" asked Death. Destruction smiled enigmatically. "Let's just say that I had to make sure that someone found their own way."The others looked at him in confusion, and Destruction could tell that they wanted more. He sighed, knowing that they wouldn't let him off the hook that easily.
"I met a young man who had become a leader in a small village," he explained. "He led his followers on a journey into the desert, searching for treasure. But what they found instead was a book filled with dark secrets that destroyed everything he had built."
The Sandman raised an eyebrow. "And how did this relate to your unfinished business?"
Destruction shrugged. "I needed to make sure that he found his own way. And he did, in the end."
The Doctor smiled knowingly. "Ah, I see. You helped him to discover the truth about himself and his beliefs, even if it was a painful lesson."
Destruction nodded, feeling a sense of relief that his siblings had understood. "Exactly. Sometimes, we need to face the darkness within ourselves in order to find the light."
Delirium tilted her head. "That's deep, man. Can we go get pizza now?"
They all laughed, happy to be together again. Destruction knew that he would never forget the young man in the desert, and he hoped that he had helped him in some small way.
As they left the Dreaming to go get pizza, Destruction felt a sense of contentment. He had completed his unfinished business, and he had found his own way.
