Chapter 1
Destiny of the Endless was wandering through the halls of the palace of Alexandria when he heard a baby crying. Following the sound, he found a small room where he saw a baby boy lying in a cradle, crying uncontrollably. He realized that the baby was the son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar, and he knew that he had to do something to help.
As he reached out to pick up the baby, he saw a vision of the future. He saw that the child would grow up to be a great leader, but he would also face many challenges and dangers throughout his life. Destiny knew that he could not allow the child to be harmed, so he decided to take him under his protection.
Chapter 2
Destiny took the baby and left the palace, knowing that he had to get him to safety. He traveled to the edge of the city, where he found a small boat that he could use to escape.
As he rowed away from the city, he felt a sense of unease. He knew that there were many who would want to harm the child, and he had to find a way to keep him safe. He decided to take the child to a place where he could be raised in secret, far away from the dangers of the world.
Chapter 3
Destiny arrived at a small village in the middle of the desert. He knew that it was a place where the child could be safe, and he left him in the care of a kind family who promised to keep him hidden from the world.
Years passed, and Destiny watched from afar as the child grew into a strong and capable young man. He knew that the time would come when the child would have to face the challenges of the world, but he also knew that he would always be there to guide and protect him.
Chapter 4
One day, the young man discovered the truth about his past. He learned that he was the son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar, and he realized that his destiny was to rule over an empire.
With Destiny's guidance, the young man set out to claim his birthright. He gathered an army and marched across the desert, determined to conquer the world and make his mark on history.
Chapter 5
As the young man's army approached the city of Rome, Destiny watched from the shadows. He knew that this was a crucial moment in the young man's life, and he hoped that he had prepared him well for the challenges ahead.
The young man entered Rome in triumph, and he was hailed as a hero by the people. He went on to rule over an empire that spanned the known world, and his name became synonymous with power and greatness.
Epilogue
Years later, Destiny returned to the village where he had left the young man so many years before. He found an old man sitting in the shade of a tree, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
The old man looked up and saw Destiny, and he smiled. "Thank you," he said. "For everything."
Destiny nodded. "It was my pleasure," he said. "You have made your mark on the world, and you have done so with honor and dignity. I am proud of you, my son."
The old man's smile grew wider, and he reached out to take Destiny's hand. "Thank you," he said again. "For being there for me, every step of the way."
Destiny smiled and squeezed the old man's hand. "Always," he said. "I will always be here for you, my son."
The End.
FLASH FORWARD
After his time with Cleopatra and Julius Caesar's son, Destiny of the Endless returned to the Dreaming where his siblings awaited his return. Delirium, Destruction, the Sandman, Death, and the Doctor all gathered around him, eager to hear his story.
Destiny began to speak, his voice steady and low. He spoke of the love that he had felt for the child he had adopted and how it had changed him. He spoke of the pain he had felt as he watched the child grow up and the grief he had felt at the child's death.
The others listened intently, each of them lost in their own thoughts. Finally, when Destiny had finished speaking, they all turned to him, silent.
"It's never easy to lose someone you love," said Death softly, her voice full of empathy.
"But it is a part of life," added Destruction, his tone gentle.
Delirium spoke next, her voice high-pitched and erratic. "I don't like it when things end," she said. "I don't like it at all."
The Sandman was quiet for a moment before he spoke. "Everything ends," he said simply. "Even us. It's what we do with the time we have that matters."
The Doctor, who had been listening intently, nodded in agreement. "We can't change the fact that things end," he said. "But we can make sure that we make the most of the time we have."
Destiny smiled at his siblings, feeling grateful for their presence. "Thank you," he said. "I feel better now."
The others smiled back at him, each of them feeling a sense of comfort in the presence of their family.
As they stood there, in the quiet of the Dreaming, they knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together.
