In the beginning, there was only darkness. The void stretched out in every direction, a black expanse of nothingness.
But deep within the void, something stirred. A shadowy figure crept through the emptiness, moving silently through the darkness. It was a creature of immense power, capable of bending the very fabric of reality to its will.
The creature looked out upon the void and saw that it was empty, lifeless. And so it set to work, using its power to shape the void into something new, something alive.
But as the creature worked, a sense of unease crept over it. There was something else in the void with it, something lurking in the shadows. The creature could sense its presence, a malevolent force that seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment.
And then, with a suddenness that took the creature by surprise, the darkness erupted. A figure emerged from the shadows, wielding a wicked blade that glinted in the void's feeble light.
The creature tried to defend itself, but it was no match for the slasher's fury. The blade sliced through the void, tearing great rents in the fabric of reality and unleashing waves of cosmic destruction.
The slasher laughed as it cut through the void, a madman in the midst of the chaos. It reveled in the destruction it wrought, relishing the fear and horror of the creatures it encountered.
And as the slasher continued its rampage, the universe began to take shape around it. Stars and galaxies coalesced out of the chaos, planets and moons formed, and life sprang up in the wake of the slasher's destruction.
But the slasher was not finished. It continued to prowl through the cosmos, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. And always, there were those who trembled in fear at the mere mention of its name, the one who had birthed the universe in blood and terror.
For the slasher was not just a creature of the void. It was the universe itself, a malevolent force that lurked in the shadows, waiting to unleash its fury upon any who dared to cross its path. And there were many who would come to know its wrath.
