FADE IN:
EXT. SPACE
The TARDIS hurtles through the depths of space.
INT. TARDIS
The Doctor runs around the console, operating levers and buttons. Amy and Rory cling to each other as the TARDIS bucks and shakes.
DOCTOR: Hold on tight! This is going to be a bumpy ride!
Suddenly, a loud bang echoes throughout the TARDIS. The Doctor is thrown across the room, hitting his head on the console.
AMY: Doctor!
RORY: Is he okay?
DOCTOR: (groans) I'm fine, I'm fine. Just a bump on the head. (looks around) Where are we?
AMY: (looking at the screen) Looks like we're in Berlin.
DOCTOR: (suspiciously) Berlin? Why would we be in Berlin?
Suddenly, the TARDIS door bursts open and a young woman stumbles in, collapsing onto the floor.
AMY: Who's that?
RORY: I don't know, but she needs help.
DOCTOR: (rushing to her side) Let me see. (checking her pulse) She's alive, but barely. We need to get her to a hospital.
AMY: But what about the TARDIS?
DOCTOR: (determined) The TARDIS will have to wait. Right now, this girl's life is more important.
They carry the unconscious girl out of the TARDIS and onto the streets of Berlin.
CUT TO:
INT. HOSPITAL
The Doctor, Amy, and Rory watch anxiously as the doctors work to save the girl's life.
DOCTOR: Who is she? What happened to her?
AMY: (looking through her wallet) Her name is Melody. Melody Williams.
RORY: But that can't be right. She's not even born yet.
DOCTOR: (realizing) Oh no. This is bad. Very bad.
AMY: What do you mean?
DOCTOR: (gravely) This girl is Melody Pond. The daughter of Amy and Rory.
AMY: (shocked) But how is that possible?
DOCTOR: I don't know. But we need to find out. And fast.
CUT TO:
INT. TARDIS
The Doctor, Amy, and Rory sit around the console, deep in thought.
DOCTOR: (pacing) We need to figure out how this happened. How did Melody end up in Berlin in 1938?
RORY: (worried) And how do we get her back to her own time?
AMY: (determined) We'll figure it out. We always do.
Suddenly, the TARDIS shakes again, throwing them all to the floor.
DOCTOR: (alarmed) What's happening now?
The doors to the TARDIS open, revealing a group of people with guns.
DOCTOR: (disbelieving) Nazis? Again?
NAZI: You! You will come with us!
DOCTOR: (shaking his head) I really hate it when they say that.
They are marched out of the TARDIS and taken to a nearby concentration camp.
CUT TO:
INT. CONCENTRATION CAMP
The Doctor, Amy, and Rory are thrown into a cell. Melody is still unconscious on the ground.
DOCTOR: (checking Melody) She's stable, for now.
RORY: (frustrated) How did we get into this mess?
AMY: (remembering) It was Melody. She's the reason we're here.
DOCTOR: (realizing) Of course! Melody's timeline is all over the place. We must have been caught
