AI Writing: Funeral for a Hatchet

As Delirium and Destruction continued their search, they came across a strange object. It was a small, ornate box that seemed out of place in the dusty, abandoned room they were in.

Destruction picked it up and examined it closely. "This looks like it could be important," he said.

Delirium agreed, and they decided to take the box with them as they continued their search. They soon found themselves in another room, filled with strange symbols and markings on the walls.

As they studied the symbols, they heard a noise behind them. They turned around to find the Sandman standing there, a stern expression on his face.

"What are you doing here?" he demanded.

Delirium and Destruction explained that they were searching for something important, but the Sandman was skeptical. "You two have a history of causing trouble," he said. "I can't just let you roam around here unchecked."

Destruction tried to reason with him, but the Sandman remained firm. "You'll have to leave," he said. "I can't have you disrupting the balance of things."

Feeling frustrated and defeated, Delirium and Destruction left the dream realm and returned to the mortal world. They knew they had to find another way to uncover the truth about their past.

But as they left the dream realm, Delirium couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She looked back at the Sandman, and saw a small smile on his face.

"He knows something," she whispered to Destruction. "We have to find out what it is."

The three Endless stood in silence for a few moments, each lost in their own thoughts. Then, Destruction spoke up. "I think it's time we bury the hatchet and move on," he said, looking at the Sandman and Delirium.

The Sandman nodded. "I agree. It's been too long since we've all been on good terms with each other."

Delirium smiled brightly. "I'm glad we can be friends again. It was getting lonely without you guys around."

Destruction grinned. "Well, we'll have to fix that. Maybe we can plan a family vacation or something."

The three Endless continued to chat and catch up with each other, the tension that had once been present now completely gone. As they walked away from the cemetery, the sky began to lighten with the dawn of a new day.

It was a new beginning for the Endless, and they were ready to face it together.
