Episode 1: The Return
FADE IN:
EXT. KINGDOM OF KELLS - DAY
24 years have passed. The kingdom is peaceful, idyllic, and prosperous under the rule of the former Mystic Knights. Rohan, Deirdre, Ivar, and Angus have aged gracefully, carrying the wisdom of their years.
ROHAN (now KING ROHAN): "Peace is a hard-earned gift. We must never take it for granted."
As he speaks, we introduce the new generation of Kells. Liam, Eilis, Conor, and Siobhan. The children of the Mystic Knights (except Siobhan) are living their lives, unaware of the legacy they are to inherit.
INT. KELLS CASTLE - THRONE ROOM - DAY
A council meeting is in progress. Tension is in the air as the original Mystic Knights discuss the strange omens that have been happening recently.
DEIRDRE (now QUEEN DEIRDRE): "The animals are restless, the winds are changing... we can't ignore the signs."
ANGUS (now CHIEF ADVISOR ANGUS): "Could it be... Maeve?"
IVAR (now GENERAL IVAR): "That's impossible... We banished her."
They all exchange concerned looks.
EXT. KELLS - MARKETPLACE - DAY
Meanwhile, Liam and Conor are in the bustling marketplace. Liam seems lost in thought.
CONOR: "What's with you, Liam? You've been out of sorts all day."
LIAM: "Just a weird dream, Conor. It felt... real."
Conor looks at Liam, concerned.
CONOR: "Maybe you should tell dad about it."
LIAM: "And worry him over a dream? I don't think so."
They share a friendly laugh, unaware of the looming danger.
INT. KELLS CASTLE - SIIOBHAN'S QUARTERS - DAY
Siobhan, deep in her magical studies, feels a surge of energy. She looks alarmed.
SIIOBHAN: "Something's coming."
EXT. KELLS - OUTSKIRTS - NIGHT
As night falls, an energy portal opens, and a figure steps out. It's QUEEN MAEVE, older but still menacing. She smiles wickedly.
MAEVE: "I'm back."
She summons dark creatures, setting the stage for the next chapter of the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog.
INT. KELLS CASTLE - LIAM'S QUARTERS - NIGHT
At the same time, Liam is visited by a handsome young man, CAOLAN, who has been his close friend for years. Their bond is strong, and there's a spark of something more.
CAOLAN: "Liam, I've noticed you've been troubled lately. Talk to me."
Liam hesitates, then opens up about his dreams. Caolan listens, and they share a moment, hinting at the blossoming romance between them.
