FADE IN:
EXT. LONDON STREET - DAY
A young woman named ROSE TEMPLE-NOBLE, mid-20s, rushes down a busy London street.
ROSE (V.O.) I've never really thought about it before. But aliens, time travel, it sounds a bit dodgy to me.
Suddenly, the ground shakes and a loud noise is heard. People around her panic and run away.
ROSE (V.O.) Whatever that was, it can't be good.
Rose sees a strange man in a leather jacket standing in the middle of the chaos. He catches her eye and they stare at each other for a moment.
ROSE (V.O.) And what was with that guy? He was like something out of a science fiction movie.
The man disappears into a nearby building. Rose follows him.
INT. DEPARTMENT STORE - DAY
Rose enters the building and looks around, confused. She hears a strange noise coming from the basement and decides to investigate.
INT. BASEMENT - DAY
Rose finds the man she saw earlier, who introduces himself as the DOCTOR, a time traveler from another planet. He tells her that the noise she heard was caused by an alien spaceship crashing into the Earth.
DOCTOR There's something alive in that ship, Rose. Something dangerous.
Rose is skeptical, but the Doctor takes her to the crash site to prove his point.
EXT. LONDON STREET - DAY
The Doctor and Rose arrive at the crash site and see a group of aliens emerging from the wreckage.
DOCTOR That's them. The aliens.
Rose is terrified, but the Doctor has a plan to stop them.
INT. DEPARTMENT STORE - DAY
The Doctor and Rose break into the store and use some of its technology to create a device that will destroy the aliens. They race back to the crash site.
EXT. LONDON STREET - DAY
The Doctor uses the device to destroy the aliens, saving the world from their threat.
DOCTOR Goodbye, Rose.
ROSE Wait! What about you? Where are you going?
DOCTOR Somewhere else. But I'll be back.
The Doctor disappears, leaving Rose behind.
ROSE (V.O.) I don't know what just happened. But I know one thing for sure. My life will never be the same again.
FADE TO BLACK.
